The Launch of Chyka Home

This past week could not have been more fun, more exciting and more fulfilling if it tried! It was the launch of what I have been working on for over the past year - my book, Chyka Home.

To be honest, I have been planning this launch since I wrote the last line of the book. Over the past few months, the details and energy that have gone into this book launch have bordered on the insane, but now that I can look back on it all, I loved every second of it - every tiny detail of it and I would do it again in a heartbeat. 

The Influencers Lunch

I knew I wanted to have a small media launch that was a ‘ladies who lunch’ type of affair. My invitation list ranged from old friends to a curated list of social media influencers and key media personnel, where we dined on a feminine, pink and white floral themed three-course sit-down lunch.

Now you know I practice what I preach so if the theme revolves around everything floral and feminine, then everything - I mean everything will fit into this theme. My dress, the cocktails served on arrival, the bespoke plates that our meals were served on to even the ribbon that wrapped my book, all related, all looked gorgeous, and all went exactly to plan.
