There’s always something magical and inspirational about learning where a journey began, who was there at the start, and what has carried it through the years. From family businesses to passion projects turned full-time enterprises, I love the tales of the nitty-gritty - who thought of what, why it was needed, and how this idea grew and got to the positions they are in now. As a business owner myself, relatable journeys comfort me. They inspire me, and I am 100 per cent sure this story will inspire you, too.
Recently, I’ve been spending time with Moondarra Cheese and Tarago, two names that hold such a rich story, one that is very close to my heart. At the centre of it all is my dear friend Matt. His passion for creating beautiful, Australian-owned cheese is infectious. He speaks about it with such love, and it’s impossible not to be inspired. What I adore most is how these brands have stood the test of time, built on tradition, craftsmanship, and a genuine care for what they do.
