Two weeks of bliss in beautiful Mykonos!

I was so happy to have my family all together on the beautiful Greek island of Mykonos. It’s been a few years, but I can honestly say I have not had this much fun in a while! It is one of my favourite places to eat, drink and shop! There are so many people here in Mykonos at the moment. I love that people are back - travelling and enjoying themselves after the last few years, it really feels like party time! Getting up at 10am and having breakfast at 11 am, Lunch at 4 pm and dinner at 11 pm… This Mediterranean way of life honestly suits me!

Now, TOP TIP! Mykonos is seriously busy. Travelling at this time of year is all about booking, organising and planning ahead. Taxis are limited so make sure you work out how you are getting around the island as it is very spread out. Hiring a car is the easiest way but you do have to consider where you can park. A lot of the places I have listed below have been recommended to me by friends, family and my followers on Instagram. I have received so many messages about where to go, what to see, and what to eat and I am absolutely loving it, so THANKYOU very much.

favourite places to eat

When it comes to dining out BOOK IN ADVANCE! Mykonos is seriously busy so my suggestion is to book as early as possible….

So why not surrender to your environment, go the Greek way of life and eat late, sleep late and have lots of fun!

casual dining

There are souvlaki stores everywhere and there is nothing better than one of these at the end of a big night (Olive Tree was my favourite!), but there are also plenty of smaller eateries that are delicious. Flora Supermarket near the airport is also amazing. It has everything you need if you are staying in a villa, so pick up your must-haves whilst a DJ is playing while you shop! Could anything be more fun?

With so many casual eating places to indulge in across the island, I could really go to town with what’s on offer but let me just share a few of my favourites…

Beach Clubs to hang out in

There are so many different types of beach clubs that cater to everyone’s different wants and needs. So depending on the day - pick what mood you are in, do you want fun in the sun? Or a day relaxing with your book? There are definitely clubs that are cool, calm and collected all day long and there are beach clubs that cater to those who like dancing on tables! Check out beach bed prices before you go as they do vary…..
Alternatively, if your beach club is a little too expensive for day-long booking, grab yourself a late lunch and just enjoy the food…
