The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and it’s hard to believe there is anything wrong in the world…

As we get through this period of isolation, one can’t help but focus on what surrounds you. Your home, for example, is your haven. The place you turn to for comfort and relaxation, the one place most likely filled to the brim with memories and pieces you love. Having just moved into our new home, the silver lining on this pandemic is that I have been able to settle in. I mean, really. Rearranging when I please, dragging chairs from one room to the next and spending time making each space work.

It’s so important to make your home feel extra special during uncertain times. It can be as simple as treating your kitchen bench to a bunch of flowers, a pot plant or a fragrant candle. Enjoy the process of bringing a space to life, the satisfaction of sitting in a newly cleaned and organised room - it could be your bedroom that needs a shakeup, or maybe your bookshelf needs a good clean out and restyle, whichever it is - these are the days to get creative. We don’t know how long isolation life will last, but as long as we are in - let’s make the most of it!

I have had many people message me because they want to move furniture around or style up a new corner of their home asking for styling advice. I have loved putting my 5 cents worth in by providing styling tips and arrangement recommendations, offering flower options or colour palettes, you name it - I can help! So if you are like me, rearranging to your heart’s content, I want to let you all know that if anyone out there wants another opinion with styling at home, DM me and let’s have fun together!
