My Sweet Pea Table Setting For Easter

Spend your Easter in the garden, amongst the sweet pea patch….

You know me, I love creating a table setting around my favourite vegetable of the moment! Sure, that may sound a little odd - but what nature makes is always something that should be celebrated at this exciting time of year (Easter is around the corner, haven’t you heard?), it’s time to shine a light on my favourite colour and veggie of the moment - the gorgeous snap pea in its luscious green.

I love the Easter break, it is such a special time for family and friends to come together and spend quality time with one another, but I am always looking for ways to create a unique celebration. One way to make this Easter celebration extra special is by setting a creative Easter table with a sweet pea theme. Mixing and matching different elements of my new Snap Pea Collection by Harris Scarfe and keeping an effortless colour palette, I have created a beautiful, inviting Easter table that will make all my guests feel at home.

I introduced you to the beautiful work of Aimee Pradell last week, and now I can finally show you how I have used her amazing Botanical Specimens as a centrepiece. When creating this table, I knew instantly that I needed her creations to be the hero of the table - their differing heights create interest, their details are unique, and they match back so well with the plates and napkins. Even better, your guests can take home some of your centrepieces (as I think they are the PERFECT gift) instead of chocolate as a gift this Easter!

From tablecloths and place settings to floral arrangements and decorations, there are plenty of ways to incorporate this cheerful colour into your Easter décor. Every piece, every plate from every collection, can be mixed and matched; therefore, pulling together a creative table won’t break the budget! With the right mix of colours, textures, and patterns, you can create an eye-catching table setting that will be sure to impress, and this is something I am the proudest of with my Harris Scarfe Collections.

I love this table; it is a strong look that works for any season, but it looks fantastic for Easter. I always have to add some flowers to my tables, so last but not least, I picked up some pansies from Bunnings, replanted them into some simple votive vases, and used these as the name place next to a little egg to complete the table. Yet another great gift idea that your guests can take them home.
