A Creative Easter

I am always looking for new ways to ‘gift’…always looking for new ways to decorate and expand on a theme so that my Easter table is the best it can be. Easter offers an excellent opportunity to unleash your creativity, and there are countless ways to give creatively, from decorating eggs to crafting elaborate table vignettes.

Easter is a joyful and playful holiday, so whether you add quirky decorations, incorporate playful themes, or include interactive elements, the presentation of your gifts, your table, and your home can turn a simple get-together into a memorable moment.

Creatively decorating and packaging Easter gifts lets you put your personal touch on your event. Whether through handcrafted decorations, unique wrapping paper, or personalised messages, it shows that you've put thought and effort into making the celebration unique for your friends and family.

MAKE SOME Egg Plants!

Simply chop the tops off an Easter egg (I have chosen some cheap $2 shop eggs) and plant some small, simple plants. Just make sure to keep these out of the sun (you can keep them in the fridge until your guests arrive) and then set them up either down the centre of you table, or on every plate. Delicate, unusual and very, very cute!

A simple basket filled with eggs?

Yes, please! To recreate this classic look, simply take the foil of three large white eggs, prop them in a basket with some shredded paper and a gorgeous ribbon, and ta-da! Tie a name tag and use these as place markers, dot them around the house as Easter decor, or hand them to guests as a sweet Easter gift—the choice is yours.

a crafty carton

For my Easter table, I wanted a handmade place marker in a specific shade of blue to match my collection of plates. So, I pulled out the paints and painted small egg cartons, filled them with chocolate eggs, and wrapped them with a simple white ribbon. Place maker made!

inspired styling

When you display and decorate creatively, you inspire others to unleash their own creativity. It can spark their imagination and encourage them to experiment with styling in their own home or at their next dinner party, your creative gestures can have a ripple effect, inspiring others. I love that when I put in the effort I am always rewarded! It truly does add an extra layer of joy, excitement, and personalisation to our Easter celebration, making it a fun and memorable experience for all!
