HOW DO YOU REMEMBER YOUR HOLIDAYS?

I love travelling. Some of my happiest memories are made on our family travels, and although I have always travelled with a camera in hand, I can’t always capture the feeling of being elsewhere. And, like most, my photos remain on my phone. Does this sound familiar to you? When you are out of your comfort zone and in a new place, there is always a sense of wonder and ‘What can we do next?’ there are new sights to see and new towns to discover that, in turn, create new emotions that you just want to bottle up and take home with you. And sometimes a photo is all you have to bring that feeling back. Last year I spent a few luxurious weeks on the Italian Coastline. It was a trip Bruce and I had planned a year in advance; between the doom and gloom of lockdowns, we googled and made lists, earmarked towns to drive through, restaurants to eat at and sunsets we had to see. We met up with friends and family along the way, stayed in off-the-track villas and drove through the countryside. We had a fantastic time! We made the ABSOLUTE most of being back in the world, and I loved every second of it.

Having memories and images on my phone is one thing, but having a gallery of edited images shot by a local photographer (who knows the best places to go) from one of my favourite places worldwide is another! I got a little photoshoot of a day in Positano to capture the light, the town and, most importantly, the feeling of travel.
