I am all about shortcuts!

If there is a corner I can cut when it comes to meal preparation, I will take it, especially mid-week. Whether it's adding in a few tins of pulses to bulk out a curry or adding in a pre-roasted chicken to a delicious salad, I am a firm believer that not every part of your meal needs to be made from scratch. And that is where Chris’ Dips come in, having a selection of dips in your fridge can really add a boost to your menu. I have chosen three meals that I love to prepare for my family, added a quick dip on the side and voila! Meal ready.

Hommus with Roast Lamb

Perfect for lunch or dinner, this roast lamb combined with Chris' Hommus is an absolute winner. Whether you are roasting the lamb that day or reheating from the day before, creating a combination pulled lamb, salad and dip is a quick and easy meal I love to make. I've added a side of a small greek salad for a little extra flavour, sprinkled some freeze-dried pomegranate over my meat - and it's done. Simple, colourful & delicious.

Tzatziki with Gozleme

I am obsessed with Gozleme! They are so yummy, come in so many different flavours and work well as breakfast, lunch or dinner. I usually purchase mine from a middle eastern bakery called Oasis Bakery, but I have found quite a few popping up in my local IGA and have even heard the ALDI versions are great. They are easy to pop in the oven or heat up on the stovetop, and they also freeze well - what more could we want? Top it with some zesty, fresh Tzatziki and a simple side of spinach and enjoy.

Beetroot Pizza

This pizza came to be when I opened the fridge door and thought 'What can I eat?', in fact, quite a few of my meal concoctions have come together that way - some disastrous, some amazing - this is one of the amazing ones, don't worry! All you need is a pizza base or pita bread, a handful of prosciutto, chunks of goat or feta cheese, salt, pepper and a few handfuls of herbs. Smother your base with Chris' Beetroot dip and then layer your toppings. It really couldn't be any easier!
